Mayfield has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 11 times she's played. Kaylee Hess was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with two steals.
Even though they lost, Northridge smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Box Elder only pulled down three offensive rebounds.
