The St. Georges Tech Hawks posted their biggest win yet this season on Thursday. They blew past Christiana 74-39 at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-19.
St. Georges Tech was led to victory by Kionne Lang and Emory Womack. Lang dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds, while Womack scored ten points along with five assists and five steals. Lang continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Blair Thomas, who scored ten points along with three steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for St. Georges Tech and bumps their season record up to 7-5. As for Christiana, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Georges Tech will square off against Odessa at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Odessa has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 637 points over their last nine games. Christiana on the road again on Monday and play against St. Mark's at 7:15 p.m. on January 22nd. St. Mark's is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
