The Alamo Heights Mules can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Edison 60-33 on the road. The win was familiar territory for Alamo Heights who now have 18 in a row.
Leading Alamo Heights to victory were Alex Elliott and Hayes Waddy. Elliott scored nine points along with seven rebounds and two steals, while Waddy scored 13 points. Gunnar Jones was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Alamo Heights pushed their record up to 22-3 with that victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.4 points per game. As for Edison, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alamo Heights will take on Jefferson at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Jefferson will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 477th, while Alamo Heights is ranked 126th). As for Edison, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Highlands at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Highlands has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests.
