There's no place like home for the LaFayette Bulldogs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against Lanett by a score of 51-38 on Monday. Given LaFayette's advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 120th, while Lanett is ranked 294th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead LaFayette to victory, but perhaps none more so than Branaviyun Story, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Deaundra Vines, who scored 12 points along with eight assists.
LaFayette has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season. As for Lanett, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-16.
LaFayette does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lanett also has no future games currently scheduled.
