Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Dexter beat Foxcroft Academy 52-47. The win made it back-to-back wins for Dexter.
Dexter found their leader in underclassman Bryce Cooper, who scored 15 points along with two steals. That's the first time this season that Cooper scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kody Kimball, who scored eight points along with four blocks.
Meanwhile, George Stevens Academy put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 75-37 win over Central at home. The victory was nothing new for George Stevens Academy as they're now sitting on six straight.
Dexter is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. As for George Stevens Academy, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2.
Dexter came up short against George Stevens Academy when the teams last played on January 9th, falling 50-41. Can Dexter avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
