Perrysburg suffered a tough 35-10 defeat at the hands of Anthony Wayne on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 47 points in the game before, Perrysburg couldn't push the score so high this time.
Grant Kinnee was on fire for Anthony Wayne: he rushed for 133 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 124 yards and a touchdown on only 11 passes. Winn Sharp was another key contributor, gaining 116 total yards and a touchdown.
Perrysburg has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-3 record this season. As for Anthony Wayne, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.
Perrysburg will head out on the road to face off against Whitmer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
