The Glenpool Warriors won against the Ardmore Tigers on Friday with 72 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. Glenpool strolled past the Tigers with points to spare, taking the game 72-54. The victory was nothing new for Glenpool as they're now sitting on six straight.
Aaliyah Shawnee was her usual excellent self, scoring 30 points along with six rebounds and six steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Glenpool's points. Another player making a difference was Yaya Gibson, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Glenpool is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season. As for Ardmore, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.
Glenpool will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Harrah will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 187th, while the Warriors are ranked eighth). As for Ardmore, they will head out on the road to face off against the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
