The Trinidad Miners will head out on the road to face off against the Raton Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Trinidad comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
Last Friday, Trinidad suffered a tough 47-25 defeat at the hands of Swallows Charter Academy.
Meanwhile, Raton pushed their score all the way to 56 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 57-56 to Mora.
Trinidad's defeat was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for Raton, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
Trinidad came up short against Raton in their previous meeting back in December of 2019, falling 61-55. Can Trinidad avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
