Western Plains won the last time they faced Chase and things went their way on Friday too. The Western Plains Bobcats really took it to the Chase Kats for the full four quarters, racking up a 45-12 win. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 32 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Chase lost, don't look at Layton Winkelman. Despite the final result, he posted two points and ten boards. Winkelman is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down ten or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Western Plains is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.8 points on average over those games. Chase dropped their record down to 1-19 with the loss, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.
