Basketball Recap: Xian Rice Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Center Point

On Monday, Alabama Aerospace and Aviation were able to grind out a solid victory over the Center Point Eagles, taking the game 54-47. The win made it back-to-back victories for Alabama Aerospace and Aviation.

Alabama Aerospace and Aviation's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Xian Rice, who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Ross Forsythe, who earned 11 points.

Alabama Aerospace and Aviation has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.4 points per game. As for Center Point, they are on a 35-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Alabama Aerospace and Aviation will take on Tarrant at 1:45 p.m. on Friday. Center Point has already played their next game, an 82-39 loss against Springville on the 10th.
