The Lakeridge Pacers will head out on the road to  face off against  the Newberg Tigers at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Lakeridge's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7  runs per game  this season, so Newberg's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

 In other batting news,  MADELINE MOEHL was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was  LAUREN BEACH, who  went 1-for-4 with two  RBI and a  double.
 Meanwhile, Newberg entered their tilt with Molalla with two consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with  a   5-1  victory over the Indians  last Tuesday.
 Lakeridge has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five games,  which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record  this season. As for Newberg, their record now sits at 5-3.
 Lakeridge took their  win against Newberg  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2023 by a conclusive  9-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lakeridge since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
