DeMarcus Acoff was a one-man wrecking crew for Jonesboro as he rushed for 126 yards and four touchdowns on only six carries. Acoff was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 59 yards. Layden Nichols also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
The win (which was Jonesboro's ninth in a row) raised their record to 10-1. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 50.89 points. As for Robert Lee, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3.
Jonesboro will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Chester at 5:00 p.m. on November 16th. One thing working in Chester's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last five matchups. Robert Lee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
