A Season-Best Performance from Brody Zemba Leads Bishop Rosecrans over Bridgeport
On Friday, Bishop Rosecrans got the W thanks in part to Brody Zemba playing the best football he has all season. Zemba rushed for 246 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also picked up 114 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 65 yards.
The victory (which was Bishop Rosecrans' third in a row) raised their record to 5-3. Zemba will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Miller on Friday.

Miller was led to victory by Logan Doughty, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Doughty rushed for 158 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 52 yards and a touchdown. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 67 yards.
If history really does repeat itself, Doughty might just drop another big game when he faces off against Bishop Rosecrans on Friday. When Doughty last faced the Bishops back in October of 2023, he rushed for 225 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per carry.
