Landin Hoeppner Tops All Others This Week
Starting off the list is Leo's Landin Hoeppner, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hoeppner made a tackle. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 69 yards.
Leo's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. Hoeppner will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against DeKalb on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Alex Phillips Leads East Noble over Bellmont
On Friday, East Noble got the W thanks in part to Alex Phillips playing the best football he has all season. Phillips rushed for 112 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 79-yard run.
The victory (which was East Noble's seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-1. Phillips will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Fort Wayne South Side on Friday.

Rylee Biddle Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Rylee Biddle produced his most outstanding game to date while leading East Noble to the win on Friday. Biddle threw for 164 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 passes, and also rushed for 47 yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
On the year, Biddle has thrown 15 touchdowns while averaging 136.1 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 4.33 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 13.56 rushing yards.

Columbia City found a leader in Gavin Smith as the team took down Norwell on Friday. Smith turned in nothing short of a gem, making two total tackles.
The win made it two in a row for Columbia City and bumps their season record up to 8-1. Smith and Columbia City will venture away from home to square off against Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Dylan Krehl and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Dylan Krehl was instrumental in extending East Noble's winning streak to seven on Friday. Krehl turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 34 yards.
For the year, Krehl has run in 12 touchdowns while averaging 101.1 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 59.89 rushing yards per game.
