Kayle Robidart of Estes Park ran for the longest rushing play in 1A Metro this season against Jefferson last week. Robidart's team fell to the Saints as he sprinted for 96 yards on the play and finished with 221 in all.
Platte Canyon extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Lyons, 36-22. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Huskies.
Front Range Christian's dynamic duo of Justin Truman and Leif Larsen proved tough for Nederland to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Truman threw for 132 yards and two touchdowns and Larsen had 77 yards receiving. Connor Rhodes helped Front Range Christian's passing attack out by catching two balls for 29 yards.
Brenden Mulhern made the biggest impact on defense this week as Estes Park lost to Jefferson. The senior racked up 1.5 sacks.
Denver Christian's Tate Kastens and Forrest Sanderson have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Kastens has thrown for 908 yards this season, while Sanderson, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 28 catches for 386 yards. Platte Canyon's Hunter Grivna-Bode leads the league in rushing yards with 1254.
The top two teams in 1A Metro will face off this week when first place Platte Canyon takes on second place Denver Christian. The Huskies beat the Lions last week, while the Crusaders lost to Clear Creek.

The Crusaders scored 14 points last week as they fell to the Golddiggers.
