Sayre took a eight-run loss the last time they faced off against Hollis, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Sayre sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over Hollis on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Sayre's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Hollis, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Coming up, Sayre will face off against Cordell at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hollis, they will head out on the road to take on Merritt at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
