Wells entered their tilt with Lake Placid on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Lake Placid Bombers by a score of 53-40. The Wells CSD have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bombers, too.

Despite the loss, Lake Placid still got an impressive performance from Anisa Cecunjanin, who posted 22 points. Margaret Thatcher was another key player, putting up eight points.

Wells' win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Lake Placid, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Wells will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Fort Ann at 5:00 p.m. on January 22nd. As for Lake Placid, they will square off against Chazy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
