Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Sadie Bright stepped things up a notch to give South Panola the 'W'. Bright was unstoppable, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Bright and South Panola are taking a road trip to challenge Lake Cormorant at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
