The Encinal Jets will square off against the Sonoma Valley Dragons at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Encinal has given up an average of 6.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Encinal is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came out on top against Mt. Eden by a score of 16-13 on Wednesday. Surprisingly, this marked the Jets' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Jazzy Alcantar was incredible, going 4-for-5 with four RBI and two runs. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jaydah Tautalatasi - Robinson, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Encinal kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. They are 4-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Sonoma Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over Analy on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won seven in a row.
Riley Rhodd made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sofia DeTorres, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Taya Gundeid also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen bases of the season.
Sonoma Valley's win bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Encinal, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-11.
Everything went Encinal's way against Sonoma Valley in their previous meeting back in May of 2015, as Encinal made off with a 10-0 win. Will the Jets repeat their success, or do the Dragons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
