Ryan Campbell was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one triple and one run.
In other batting news, Jadon Noriega was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Bruce Delgado, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
Pahranagat Valley's record now sits at 9-5. As for Liberty Baptist Academy, their record is now 8-4.
Thursday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Pahranagat Valley has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .529. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
