Mesa is 0-10 against Mountain View since April of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. The Jackrabbits will welcome the Toros at 3:45 p.m. Mesa has given up an average of 18.3 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Mountain View, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against Skyline on Tuesday as they made off with a 16-1 victory. With that win, the Toros brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.
Ashlyn Parra was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Keelie Goodman, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Mountain View always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .562. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Mountain View is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Mesa, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
Thursday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Mesa hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .365. However, it's not like Mountain View struggles in that department as they've averaged .331. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Mesa suffered a grim 23-0 defeat to Mountain View in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Can the Jackrabbits avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
