Basketball Recap: Lebanon Skates Past Faith Christian with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lebanon). They breezed by the Faith Christian Eagles to the tune of 69-31 on Friday. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 99th, while the Eagles are ranked 373rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

It was another big night for Kaden Lark, who went 9 for 13 on his way to 23 points in addition to five assists and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Ferrell, who posted 11 points and four steals.

Lark wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Lebanon was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Faith Christian only racked up nine assists.

Despite the defeat, Faith Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Luke Miller had 11 points along with seven boards and three steals.

Lebanon now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Faith Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Lebanon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 48-47 victory against Evansville North on the 28th. As for Faith Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 64-46 loss against Western on the 28th.
