Olympian not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 4th. Everything went their way against the Coronado Islanders as they made off with an 8-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.
Sophia G Aquino made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. What's more, she posted three strikeouts, the most she's had since back in March. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. That stolen base was her first of the season.
In other pitching news, Alexandra Perez looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in ten consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, Olympian got a massive performance out of Kailynn Robeson, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-3. That's the most runs Robeson has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacqui De Murguia, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
