The Scott Eagles pushed their score all the way to 73 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Harrison County by a score of 76-73. Despite running the score up even higher than they did last Friday (66), Scott still had to take the loss.
Scott lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Dylan Giffen, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Xarek Sarakatsannis, who scored 16 points.
Scott's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Harrison County, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-9.
Scott's road trip will continue as they head out to face Lloyd Memorial at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th. As for Harrison County, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Campbell County at 7:30 p.m.
