The Eugene Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 65-19 loss at the hands of Linn. Eugene has struggled against Linn recently, as their match on Wednesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Linn can attribute much of their success to Kiana Hostetler, who scored 11 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Hackmann, who scored 15 points.
Eugene's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Linn, their victory bumped their record up to 1-2.
Eugene will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hallsville at 7:30 p.m. on December 11th. Linn will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Belle at 6:00 p.m. on December 1st.
