That result was just more of the same for these two, as Flanagan also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Flanagan found their leader in underclassman D?Naela Myers, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 17 rebounds. The matchup was Myers' fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Melissa Ayebah, who scored 5 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals.
Flanagan now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Stoneman Douglas, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
Flanagan will be playing in front of their home fans against Cypress Bay at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Cypress Bay's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Stoneman Douglas, they will head out on the road to face off against Hallandale at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
