Last week, Riverview were close but not close enough as they fell 17-20 to DeWitt. Riverview's defeat came about despite a quality game from senior Griffin Miller, who rushed for 150 yards and 1 touchdown. One of the most memorable plays of the matchup was Miller's 86-yard touchdown rush in the third quarter.
Meanwhile, Highland lost to Harding Academy by a decisive 31-49 margin.
The losses dropped Riverview to 1-1 and Highland 0-2. We'll see which team satisfies that hunger and which team leaves with an empty belly.
