While Yale didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Brown City Green Devils on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Green Devils: they've now won four in a row.

Yale's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Brown City, they dropped their record down to 2-3 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Yale will face off against Richmond at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bulldogs 3.7, the Blue Devils 3) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Brown City, they will venture away from home to take on Laker at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
