The Little Falls Flyers won the last time they faced the Upsala Cardinals, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Little Falls came out on top against Upsala by a score of 53-42.
Upsala's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zoey Leners, who scored 4 points along with 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brenna Graves, who scored 10 points along with 3 steals.
Little Falls now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Upsala, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Little Falls is on the road again on Friday and play against Mora at 7:15 p.m. on December 8th. As for Upsala, they will face off against Long Prairie-Grey Eagle at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
