West Scranton is 9-1 against Scranton since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Invaders will be playing at home against the Knights at 4:30 p.m. West Scranton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.
Having struggled with four losses in a row, West Scranton turned things around against Scranton Prep on Friday. They blew past the Cavaliers 11-1. The Invaders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by ten runs or more this season.
Alexa Jaworski spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, West Scranton got a massive performance out of Mia Tallo, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave Tallo a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Laney Mackie, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: West Scranton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 13 runs the game before, Scranton was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They came up short against North Pocono, falling 23-1. The Knights have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Scranton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for West Scranton, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 5-5.
West Scranton got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in May of 2025 against Scranton by a conclusive 14-4 score. Will the Invaders repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
