Wilmington took care of business in their home opener on Saturday. They came out on top against the Washington Blue Lions by a score of 3-1. The Hurricane haven't had any issues with the Blue Lions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wilmington is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Waynesville at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Washington, they will face off against Huntington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
