Denver had a rough outing against Osage two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Denver took their matchup against Aplington-Parkersburg last Friday 22-13. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Denver as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, after a dominant win in their match, Sumner-Fredericksburg were humbled. They came up short against Osage, falling 14-22. Sumner-Fredericksburg's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Denver simply couldn't be stopped the last time the two teams met, as they easily beat Sumner-Fredericksburg 48-0. Will Denver repeat their success, or does Sumner-Fredericksburg have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
