Clinton Prairie found their leader in sophomore Taymorgan102 Taylor Morgan, who went 6 of 12 on her way to 19 points along with five boards and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Taylor Morgan has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Hyleigh Wilson, who posted ten points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.
Clinton Central played in conference for the first time on Friday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They blew past Tri-Central 58-35. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 23 points or more this season.
Clinton Central's win came from a few key players Clinton Prairie will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Carly Davison, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten assists. The contest was her fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Dellinger, who went 5 of 8 on her way to 15 points.
