Baseball Recap: Arlington's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Arlington had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They came out on top against the Carmel Rams by a score of 4-1. That's more bragging rights for the Admirals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Christian Anderson was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI. DJ Mulvany was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Arlington now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Carmel, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.

Arlington didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 14-0 victory against Ossining on the 13th. As for Carmel, they are taking a road trip to square off against Greeley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
