They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Mohican Young Star Academy Gladiators 66-26. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Cougar considering their 24-point performance the contest before.
Cristo Rey's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-18. As for Mohican Young Star Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cristo Rey will head out to square off against Horizon Science Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mohican Young Star Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ohio School for the Deaf at 6:00 p.m. on February 26th.
