This season hasn't been kind to the Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage Rams, who are still winless after their sixth match. They were dealt a 73-11 defeat at the hands of Pyramid Lake on Tuesday. Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-10.
Pyramid Lake's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Olivia Lara, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaitlin Mandell, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds.
Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-6. As for Pyramid Lake, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage will take on Coleville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pyramid Lake, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Sage Ridge at 6:00 p.m.
