This season hasn't been kind to the Fishburne Military Caissons, who are still winless after their 12th contest. They were the victim of a rough 72-48 defeat at the hands of Stuart Hall on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Fishburne Military can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 374th, while Stuart Hall is ranked 137th).
Several Caissons players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Giovanni Belisle, who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds and five assists. Allyn Koger was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Fishburne Military bumped their record down to 0-12 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Stuart Hall, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.
Fishburne Military will be playing at home against Grace Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grace Christian is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games. Stuart Hall won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Grove Christian School at 7:00 p.m. on January 12th. Grove Christian School is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
