Potlatch is on a seven-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Kendrick is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Loggers will welcome the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
11 must be Potlatch's lucky number: they beat Prairie with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Loggers put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 11-5 win.

Jay Marshall
| 04/25/26 vs Prairie | 3 |
| 04/24/26 @ Troy | 2 |
| 03/27/26 vs Portland Christian | 2 |
| 04/21/26 vs Lewis County co-op [Highland/Nezperce] | 1 |

Jay Marshall was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brody Mitchell, who went 1-for-5 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Kendrick was not the first on the board on Saturday, but they got there more often. Everything went their way against Genesee as they made off with a 17-3 victory.
Joha Hultman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Hultman was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played.
In other batting news, Ralli Roetcisoender was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Morgan, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one triple.
Kendrick's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Potlatch, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 15-2.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Potlatch has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.5 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Kendrick struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Potlatch got the 'W' when the teams last played on April 7th against Kendrick by a conclusive 13-2 score. Do the Loggers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
