Alex Brehmer and Dakota Riecken provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Meridian. The longest such play in D2 District 3 (8 Man) this season, the connection resulted in 62 yards.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, St. Francis beat Bancroft-Rosalie 36-22. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
Lyons-Decatur Northeast's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Brehmer threw for 90 and 2 touchdowns and Riecken had 75 yards receiving.
