The Live Oak Classical Falcons only won by three when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 46-point they dealt the Reicher Catholic Cougars on Tuesday. Live Oak Classical simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Cougars 57-11 at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-7.
Live Oak Classical's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Audrey Pahmiyer, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Pahmiyer is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Lily Sriram, who scored seven points along with five steals.
Live Oak Classical pushed their record up to 16-9 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Reicher Catholic, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Live Oak Classical will head out on the road to square off against the Celtics at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Holy Trinity Catholic comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 11 points in their last nine games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Reicher Catholic, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Eagles. Brazos Christian will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
