One of the many wild things about 2020 is states have reversed their decisions to play in the spring and plan to kick off in the fall. We've seen it in Michigan, Wisconsin, Colorado and now possibly Maryland.
Cherry Creek (Greenwood Village, Colo.) is Centennial State team which has our attention to join the fall rankings. A few weeks ago the Bruins were preparing for a 2021 season, now they are gearing up for October action. The defending 5A state champions are coming off a 14-0 season.
Cherry Creek joins nine other teams on our National Watch List. The 10 teams sit right outside the Top 50 and have strong cases to join anytime.

Cherry Creek begins its football season soon and could jump into the MaxPreps Top 50 rankings with a hot start.
