Palmetto Ridge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Haley Cousins, who scored 26 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cousins has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jordyn Villani, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks.
The win got Palmetto Ridge back to even at 8-8. As for South Fort Myers, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.
Palmetto Ridge will be playing at home against Golden Gate at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Fort Myers won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Dunbar at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. Dunbar is out to stop a seven-game streak of losses at home.
