Basketball Recap: Terrell Skates Past Corsicana with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Red Oak, Terrell was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 55-22 victory over the Corsicana Tigers. Terrell has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 29 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Terrell to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aubree Tate, who went 5 for 12 on her way to 13 points and eight rebounds. Danielle Jones was another key player, putting up 13 points and eight rebounds.

Terrell smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in November.

Terrell's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-10. As for Corsicana, they dropped their record down to 10-8 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Terrell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 71-41 defeat against Crandall on the 17th. As for Corsicana, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 63-32 loss against Midlothian Heritage on the 17th.
