AAA District 8 recap November 13, 2013
Franklin County was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in AAA District 8.
Shelbyville Central extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Tullahoma, 44-7. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Golden Eagles.
Shelbyville Central's Mason Cunningham and Tyler Eddings led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Cunningham has thrown for 1,779 yards this season, while Eddings has 25 catches for 489 yards. Lincoln County's August Hill leads the league in rushing yards with 1,134.
Ryan Golden has rushed for 938 yards on 160 carries so far this year.
The Wildcats fell to Jason Hardy's team 44-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Cole Potter threw for 63 yards and ran for 43 yards in the defeat.
