The Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They strolled past Person with points to spare, taking the game 49-33. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cedar Ridge also won the last time the pair played on January 2nd.
It was another big night for Sarah Utley, who scored 21 points along with five assists and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Hailey McLeod was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with ten rebounds.
Cedar Ridge's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Person, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-11.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Southern Alamance the next time they take the court. Cedar Ridge will head out to face Southern Alamance at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Person will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
