Evergreen Christian was led to victory by Matthew Shelton and Jackson Britt. Shelton scored 18 points along with six rebounds and two blocks, while Britt scored 22 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Britt has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Cook, who scored eight points.
Rock Creek Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Corwin Holland II, who scored 19 points along with nine rebounds. Sam Norfleet was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six assists.
Evergreen Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Rock Creek Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-6.
