Adding to the longest winning streak in NCISAA Colonial Carolina (8 Man) this week, Southampton Academy beat Hobgood Academy 80-60. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Raiders.
Rocky Mount Academy took down Lawrence Academy 52-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Greg "GJ" Mullins was a passing and rushing force as the Raiders lost to Southampton Academy.
Mullins was a force in the backfield as Hobgood Academy lost to Dale Marks' team.
Caleb Quinn was the best receiver in the league this week as Arendell Parrott Academy beat Northeast Academy. Quinn racked up 3 receptions for 79 yards. Devin Cregan helped Arendell Parrott Academy's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 58 yards.
The Patriots' Jack Huddle and Quinn have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Huddle has thrown for 377 yards this season, while Quinn, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 18 catches for 409 yards. Brandon Lanier's team's Mullins leads the league in rushing yards with 1,445.
The most important game in NCISAA Colonial Carolina (8 Man) this week will be the match up between Cary Christian and Arendell Parrott Academy. The Knights enters the contest ranked sixth in the state, while Matt Beaman's team ranks fourth.
