Bishop Eustace Prep extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 21 on Monday, dropping their season record down to 0-11 in the process. They lost 17-3 to the Seneca Golden Eagles. On the bright side, the three- run performance marked the Crusaders' highest-scoring match to date.
As for Seneca, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games.
For Seneca's part, Ava Rodriguez made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits.
