Meanwhile, Taunton put another one in the bag last Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Westfield and snuck past 4-3. Despite the victory, that was the fewest runs Taunton has scored all year.
Milford's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-4. As for Taunton, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with that victory, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.
