Pojoaque Valley was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Moriarty on Friday. Everything went the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes' way against the Moriarty Pintos as the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes made off with a 48-24 win. The Elks/Elkettes haven't had any issues with the Pintos recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Despite the loss, Moriarty still got an impressive performance from Presley Edwards, who posted 13 points in addition to six boards and five steals. Edwards is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games she's played.

Pojoaque Valley's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Moriarty, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-13.
